Bio
Frank Monge begins his first season as an assistant coach at Skyline College. He comes to Skyline with over 10 years of playing and coaching experience, most recently serving as an assistant coach at Cal State Stanislaus.
Monge has playing experience at every level. He played for Ohlone College from 2007-09 for California Community College Hall of Fame coach John Peterson. He helped Ohlone reach the Sweet 16 in 2009. He then moved on to Cal State Stanislaus, where he played for the late Larry Reynolds. Coach Reynolds is a Hall of Famer, named Big West Coach of the Year, and four-time CCAA Coach of the Year. During his career, Monge started 31 games. In 2009-10, he led the team in blocked shots and was 2nd on the team in rebounding.
Monge has also played professionally for Frayles de Guasave (Mexico) and Cangrejeros de Santurce (Puerto Rico).
In addition to coaching at Cal State Stanislaus, Monge also spent one season as an assistant at James Logan High School, where they won the NorCal Championship. He also has player development experience with a number of Pro's in the Bay Area.
Frank earned his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Cal State Stanislaus.
